The Founder
My name is Josefine Amafia, an entrepreneur and the founder of Amafia Bridal Boutique, which opened its doors in April 2024 in the beautiful coastal town of Alfaz del Pi on Spain’s Costa Blanca.
My journey began in the picturesque fishing village of Bleik on Andøy in Northern Norway. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and a close-knit community, I developed an early appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and authenticity—values that continue to shape everything I create today.
Before realizing my dream of opening my own boutique, I gained valuable experience within both the hospitality and sales industries, where I learned the importance of service, detail, and human connection.
Throughout the years, my passion for elegant gowns and timeless design continued to grow. Extensive travels across the United States, Dubai, Africa, and several European countries have further enriched my understanding of diverse cultures, aesthetics, and design traditions.
A particularly defining chapter of my journey was spent in the United States, where I dedicated three months to exploring the world of ball gowns and couture fashion—an experience that deeply shaped my vision for fashion and elegance.
My journey later evolved into the world of fine fragrance—a realm where emotion, memory, and artistry are captured in scent. This passion led me to France, the heart of haute perfumery, where I immersed myself in the craft of creating a niche perfume. «Mother” is an exquisite niche fragrance created in honor of my mother. Inspired by love, gratitude, and cherished memories, it embodies warmth, strength, and timeless elegance—transforming emotion into scent.
Surrounded by master perfumers and centuries of tradition, I developed an understanding of the delicate balance between raw materials, composition, and identity.
What began as a vision slowly transformed into something tangible—an expression of elegance, character, and personal storytelling through scent.
From this journey, my own make-up line was born as well, inspired by the same philosophy of luxury, refinement, and timeless beauty.
